While watching ‘The Last Word’ Lawrence O’Donnell had a great segment talking about the defense of teachers in a time where teachers are being blamed for the failures of our kids.
Is it really the teachers fault??
No, to blame teachers is the easy way out. There are several other factors involved to why our children have failed; poverty, lack of family support, along with other social factors….
So I commend Matt Damon for standing up for teachers while both parties attack what might be the last line of defense to saving our kids.
