MSNBC’s Ed Schultz calls out Marco Rubio

When will politicians and pundits realize that in this day in age every comment and action by public figures are forever captured and shared with the internet and tools like YouTube.  Recently Ed Schultz called out Senator Marco Rubio’s hypocrisy concerning Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.  Schultz especially called out Rubio on his stance on Medicare; on his MSNBC show Schultz showed a video clip where Rubio told a story about his immigrant parents coming to the United States.  He talked about how Medicare is a critical program that allows Americans quality healthcare, but I guess that was all in the past for Rubio.

Rubio recently gave a speech at the Ronald Reagan Library and spoke about how Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid have “weakened our people”.  Will the real Marco Rubio stand up!  This attack by Rubio fired up Schultz and he openly challenged Rubio to debate the facts about those programs.

I know at times Ed Schultz can be over the top but I have to agree with him on this topic, ultimately we need some kind of reform on programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid…  That I can agree with Rubio but I cannot agree with politicians like Rubio basically lying to make a point.  There is no way we can have an honest debate about reform when the people involved in the debate cannot be honest with themselves; I doubt Rubio will take Schultz up on his challenge because he knows he is wrong.

I am sure glad we have YouTube to keep ALL politicians (Democrats and Republicans) honest!!

As always….

If there is something to be said, “It’s On Broadway” to step up and say it!!
