Another Knee Surgery for Derrick Rose
Another season, and another knee surgery for Derrick Rose….
We are now at the point where Rose’s knees maybe in the same category as Greg Oden, rickety!
The Chicago Bulls just announced that Rose will be out indefinitely with surgery to repair a torn meniscus. This is the same right knee Rose had surgery on November 25, 2013 after returning from a torn ACL in his left knee.
Rose’s game is all about explosion, and you have to wonder how much more does he have left in his knees. But it will not only be the physical part that Rose will have to recover from. After 3-knee surgeries what will his mental state be like?
It was just back in November when Rose caused a mini-stir when he discussed being concerned about his long-term health. He talked about not wanting to suffering with aches and pains with his knees later in life by picking and choosing being the player that won the MVP in 2010-2011.
If Rose’s confidence was wavering back then after a 2nd knee surgery, what will his confidence/mind-set be after a 3rd knee surgery?
As always….
If there is something to be said, “It’s On Broadway” to step up and say it!!
