When I 1st heard Jesse Williams acceptance speech for BET’s Humanitarian award. I couldn’t help but focus on the following….

If you have a critique for the resistance, for our resistance, then you better have an established record of critique of our oppression. Every time there’s a video released of police brutality or a shooting, there is always someone that needs an explanation of why this is a problem. Over the past year or 2, I have found myself trying to be understanding and taking the time to explain, but after watching Alton Sterling and Philando Castile being gunned down… I just can’t do it anymore

If you can’t see there is something seriously wrong with what is going down in America after watching these latest videos; then that is on you!

And if you answer to all of this is just comply with the police… As Mr Williams said, “SIT DOWN!”
