Yes, many stars/heroes passed away in 2016, but folks GET OVER IT!!!!

We can mourn their passing, but now it’s become automatic for people on social media to go beyond the standard #RIP and say they are so OVER 2016. And we now have an idiot who actually started a GoFundMe page to protect beloved actress Betty White from the dreaded killer 2016.

I will admit the recent meme of the Grim Reaper being the Time Person of the Year was pretty funny

But why so angry at 2016?

No disrespect to Prince, Muhammad Ali, Carrie Fisher and many others but a simple fact of life is as time passes, people get older and they die. Why must we bastardize everything in life? I actually long for the days when people just complained about who was snubbed in the “In Memoriam” segment during The Oscars or The Grammys. 

I am over YOU being over 2016!

By the way, there are plenty of people who lost loved ones (you know people they actually know) this year that can say they are truly over 2016.
